Location
We are only 3 miles from the spectacular Elan Valley the Lakeland of Wales Reservoirs. Spa Town of Llandrindod Wells 10 miles. The Royal Welsh Show Ground at Builth Wells is 13 miles away and the seaside towns of Aberystwyth and Borth are only 45 minutes drive away.
Accommodation & Facilities Touring
The Wyeside can accommodate over 100 tents and 40 touring caravans, electric hook-ups with TV points and hardstanding if required. Facilities include a toilet and shower block which also has disabled facilities, pot wash, chemical disposal, hairdryers and a launderette.

Although most caravan holiday homes at the park are privately owned a luxury 36' by 12' caravan is available to hire, located at the park entrance the caravan has great views and is equipped to a high standard. There is a launderette on site.

The park has an excellent children's play area and a large field for football and other ball games.
Entertainment
The Waun Capel park adjoins the camping field at Wyeside and is run by the local authority. Here you can enjoy a game of boules on the green (one of the best in Wales), play some tennis courts, try some putting golf or use the large playing field for games.
Food & Drink
The park shop keeps a reasonable selection of caravan and camping accessories including tents, sleeping bags, airbeds, water pumps and pegs. For food shopping there is a large Spar in town as well as some good pubs and restaurants.

The area around Rhayader is a perfect destination for bird watching, walking, fishing, moutain biking, canoeing or swimming in the river.
