Location
Both parks have superb riverside settings on the banks of the pretty River Stour and are very close to the seaside resort of Bournemouth.
Accommodation & Facilities Touring
All the touring pitches are level and have electric hook-up points, water points are interspersed conveniently among the conifer hedges. There are also fully serviced hard-standing luxury pitches available. The touring field has a superb amenities block with toilets, showers and baths, baby change room, dishwashing area, Elsan point and a disabled room. Tents are not accepted.
Accommodation & Facilities
The parks have a range of caravan holiday homes in either 10ft or 12ft wide and sleeping up to 6 people. Both parks have a laundry and either an shop on-site or within a 5 minute walk.
Family
Both parks cater for children with modern, safe play equipment and games rooms with pool tables and video games. The kids will also love the safe, sandy beaches of Bournemouth.
Entertainment
Both Parks provide good coarse fishing and Grove Farm Meadow has the fishing rights for one mile of the River Stour. An attraction for keen fishermen is the friendly Grove Farm Meadow fishing competition which takes place during October every year. There are also games rooms at both parks with pool tables and video games.
Food & Drink
The parks either have or are very close to shops and The Ilford Bridge Tavern is a short pleasant riverside walk from both the parks and has a good family restaurant. The area also offers a wealth of first class restaurants and pubs.
Local Activities
The Bournemouth area offers a superb range of holiday activities to suit all tastes and boasts seven miles of safe, sandy bathing beaches. For the energetic there are numerous golf courses including Britains premier public golf facility the open golf centre only five minutes drive away. Fishing is available at both parks and tennis courts, riding stables, ten pin bowling alleys, boat hire, dry slope skiing, plus much more, all within ten minutes drive. The parks are also close to the New Forest, a beautiful area of woodland and heathland where wild forest ponies and deer roam free and perfect for walking, riding and mountain biking.
