On the South side of Edinburgh, within the city boundary, is a private country estate of 200 acres in which lies the beautifully maintained Mortonhall Camping & Caravan Park. In a sheltered bowl with southerly views to the Pentland Hills, situated with easy access to the city By-Pass (A720) and the main roads entering the City.

Mortonhall's spacious parkland setting provides a great choice of pitches for tents, touring caravans and motor homes. A large number of pitches are available with electricity, water and drainage. There is a modern shower and toilet block, a dishwashing area, a laundry, a licensed shop and a camper's kitchen.

A children’s play area equipped with swings, see-saw, climbing frame and slide, the TV / games room is also a popular place to relax and play for the children. Child gates, fireguards, high chairs, bed guards and cots can all usually be provided free of charge.

The park has an excellent TV and games room with table tennis and darts and a well equipped play park for the children. Or relax and enjoy a drink in the excellent bar.

There is an excellent on-site restaurant and bar as well as a licensed shop. A huge range of shops and restaurants are available in the city centre.

Very close to the huge range of attractions and activites of the historic Edinburgh City centre including the excellent shopping of Princes Street and lovely gardens. Walks can be enjoyed though the beautifully maintained gardens on the estate and the longest dry ski slope in the world can be seen from the park. Nature lovers and walkers will enjoy exploring the nearby Pentland Hills and there are golf courses close by.
