Location
Set in Alyth, an ancient town in Perth and Kinross, situated on the Alyth Burn 5 miles (8km) east of Blairgowrie. It lies at the foot of the Braes of Angus in the valley of Strathmore close to Perthshire's eastern boundary with Angus.

Blairgowrie has some great places for eating out with excellent restaurants as well as many pubs and other establishments offering superb food and drink in traditional surroundings. As well as traditional fish and chips, there are other takeaway restaurants offering Indian, chinese cuisine, kebabs, pizza and other dishes.
