Children will love the White Rabbit Trail at whitby, a must for Alice in Wonderland fans, and visiting Goathland Station - also known as Hogsmeade Station!

There is a coffee house, which is open all day - come in for breakfast or snacks served all day. The Flask Inn has an extensive bar menu which caters for all tastes and a separate room where family's are welcome. The small shop next door also sells take-away snacks. Shops, pubs and restaurants can all be found in nearby Robin Hood's Bay.

Mess about on a boat or fish on the river or sea and the beach at Robin Hood's Bay is also perfect for fossil hunting and rock-pooling.
